If you want Authentic Mexican food, look no further than Mauricio’s taco shop. Growing up in Texas I’ve been spoiled with some of the best Mexican food you can get in the states, and I can honestly say that Mauricio's does a pretty good job standing up to them. Apart from the commonly found meats such as carne asada, carnitas, and chicken, they also offer more traditional cuts for the adventurous such as lengua (beef tongue), cabeza (sheep’s head), and pork cheek that are absolutely delicious. My all time favorite taco they offer is their Al pastor, which is pork stacked and cooked almost shwarma style, marinated with spices and pineapple and roasted on a turning spit so the meat crisps up. It’s to die for! They also offer humongous breakfast tacos that are scrumptious. Any time anyone suggests eating Mexican, I always tell them Mauricio's is the way to go!
